Pixel Art | Unity Editor Tool

Pixel art tool directly in Unity Editor.

Drawing tools:

🖌 Brush (B) - Paint pixels using primary color (right-click = secondary

color)

🔲 Eraser (E) - Erase pixels to transparent (alpha 0)

🪣 Bucket Fill (F) - Flood-fill a connected region with the primary color

💉 Eyedropper (I) - Click any pixel to sample its color into primary slot

╱ Line (L) - Draw straight lines using Bresenham - hold Shift to snap

to 45°

▭ Rectangle (R) - Draw filled or outlined rectangles - hold Shift for square

◯ Ellipse (O) - Draw filled or outlined ellipses hold Shift for circle

▦ Dither (D) - Checkerboard paint brush for smooth gradients without

transparency

✥ Move (M) - Offset the entire canvas content - wraps around edges

Symmetry Modes:

None - Standard painting - no mirroring

Horizontal - Mirror left ↔ right across the vertical center axis

Vertical - Mirror top ↕ bottom across the horizontal center axis

Both - 4 way mirror, horizontal + vertical simultaneously

Radial 4 - Mirror in all 4 quadrants (same as Both)

Built-in Palettes (can be created manually too):

Default 20 Standard RGB + grays + common hues

Game Boy 4 Authentic 4-color Game Boy green palette

NES 64 Full NES hardware palette (all 64 colors)

Earthy 16 Browns, tans, greens, blues - nature scenes

Pastel 12 Soft pastel tones for cute / kawaii art

Canvas Transforms:

Flip Horizontal Mirror all pixels left-to-right

Flip Vertical Mirror all pixels top-to-bottom

Rotate 90° CW Rotate entire canvas 90° clockwise (swaps width/height)

Invert Colors Invert RGB channels of all pixels (alpha preserved)

Clear All Set all pixels to transparent (with confirmation dialog)
